hey all.
suddenly i had this urge to blog again. hmmm. i was listening to Mr Lee's talk just now.. esp on the foreign talents part, the development parts and the IT parts (which was by far the most interesting). Basically, i loved the way he confidently stood up and spoke to the people. It did help me a lot in Geography and Social Studies, and it definitely boosted my general knowledge, not only about Singapore's current affairs but also the situations Singapore has with other countries.
i actually sat down and watched 1/2 of the speech, which was indeed something miraculous. i cant even recall the last time i actually sat down in front of the tv and watching something screening from the local channels. Usually, it'll either be DVDs or VCDs or just switching the tv off and turn on the computer (i find more entertainment here). well, i did learn things today (:
suddenly, i was reminded of a situation that i'm currently in.. well, and a certain group of my classmates. all because of my conflict with a particular someone (honestly, i don't even know how it began), we split up during recesses and lunches. It's so stupid, and I don't intend to make this cause any more friction (it caused a whole big thing, and i nearly lost a great friend), but the problem actually lies with the fact that she wants to make things awkward, and make one person stick to her, and when that person's not around, she just drags others along with her. she think she's like some boss ah, siao! no one will ever listen to her nonsense lahs.. it's really getting on my nerves already. i wish our clique could get back to normal again, but her constant pathetic bad character is seriously screwing everything up.
and seriously sometimes when i look at her, i feel like smashing her head against the wall. sadly, i know it's wrong to do that (and evil too, cause she already has a cock up face)
sigh, maybe it's meant to be like this. they say in Secondary school you really meet those friends for life.. also, i think we also meet people we know we should stay away from, and people we know can never last in society the moment they step into the workforce. good luck to them mann.
i'd better start studying tomorrow. i even pasted up notices on my desk wall, saying "CHARMAINE TAN!! YOU BETTER START STUDYING FOR YOUR EXAMS!"
i'm really trying, and the thoughts of getting into VC is stuck in my head now.
