the only thing i could do [just like i told KL] was to blog a tribute to a person i hardly knew- some never knew him, and he was just an aquaintance. However, he was a great loss to shss & many people. Samuel Tan will always be etched in the hearts of many, teachers & peers alike.
when Mr Chiang broke the news, and i saw the teachers faces this morning, i knew he was a good student.
when i came online, and i saw many blogs.. i knew he was a great friend.
dengue. its fatal.
and fever is something that i'll always fear about.. especially when people closest to my heart gets it. know you know why i'm so particular about fever. now you know why i care this much..
"live each day as if it was your last"
i never knew how great this phrase was.
until today
when i saw my friends' faces today [esp. those closer to samuel], i really felt saddened too. then again, i also know that his pain's gone, and he's with the Lord now. same for my grandma, who passed away on the 9th of July this year..
their pain's gone. they're happy & in peace.
we too, will one day be with the Lord in heaven.
it is a shocking news, really.
but one thing i do know is that, the Lord does everything...
for a reason
rest in peace my friend-
