since 12082005 till 27092006..
apart from love,
i've smelt hurt, anger, tears and pain.
and those downs seemed to linger
in my thoughts every single day.
i never knew love was this tough,
i never knew love was this hard.
for many months i have been wondering,
how did i mange to come this far?
it was only till today, 28092006
that i've finally realised
the answer to all my doubts
came flowing into my mind
it wasn't sacrifice
it wasn't tolerance
it was these 3 simple somethings
faith, trust and love.
i had faith, and so did you
we hung onto a hope
and together we've grown
heart to heart
we both became one.
we had our fights,
but they never seemed to last.
as we stood by the walkway
and saw many heartbreaks
i held your hand, and asked.
would that happen to us?
you smiled and said
why do you ask,
isn't it obvious,
we won't, cause we have this trust.
if we both wanted to be together,
what could possibly stop us?
we used to like,
but now we love.
