Hello everybody :)
i know i haven't been blogging for the past few days.. as i've been rotting at home, hence there's nothing to blog abt at all. if i did blog, all you'd be reading is bad & mundane routines which i've been doing the past few days. So yes i've been collecting ang pows during the cny period (have yet to collect the last BIG one), and i'm not surrounded by a bunch of rich people so i never get a lot of cash.. but nvm.. it's just the spirit of giving & the kids receive with contentment. that's the whole idea behind cny aft all.
today's my bro's 11th birthday.. which means i'm 17 (6 years older).. and i'm getting one step closer to being more legal. i should just wait to be legal before clubbing instead of some underaged people who clubs till they get addicted and try all means just to sneak into a club for drinks etc. but the only thing i hate about clubbing is when some ppl tend to start smoking etc. yuck. smokers (even casual smokers) are a turn off to me.. serious. wasting their life away.. when they could use the money on something else more valuable. So yup, we cut the cake, had a pretty alright family reunion (with a bit of naggins from my dear ah ma of course). Also.. hamham & mimi had so many visitors today! But i'm glad weren't too shy.. if not they'd be labelled as boring. Hamsters are cute stuff! They ain't boring!!
today was also my cousin's and siblings' gold star swimming test @ toa payoh swimming complex. i'm super glad that they passed, and i'm super super happy that my brother did better than everyone expected! my uncle and i were cheering them on their 30lap marathon. it wasn't easy i must say.. esp for 2 overweight guys and a girl who's very prone to getting cramps. i guess life's all about hitting your own target, instead of a target which was set by others. that suddenly gave me the inspiration to start swimming again. i had to stop at pri 2 with a silver cert plus a couple of other survivor certs (not easy okay) due to clashing of swimming lessons with my piano lessons. at that time, i didn't know what made me choose piano.. but heck.. i love music :) and i love sports too! maybe i should learn to take things even more slowly..
for the past few days, i've also learnt a lot of new stuff.. and understood someone better. i guess life is all about accepting and understanding others.. and with the hope that others could understand the real you as well. and its so sad to know that sometimes people tend to take you for granted.. and sometimes, people wrong you. but what is it that made you patch back with 'em? maybe that's why people say that love overrules everything else.
oh and the last & most unbelivable fact..
i actually created another maple account..
the world has turned upside down.
LOL.
